Bryce Canyon National Park is a relatively small park in the National Park department. This National Park you can see in one day. If fact in one day I hiked pretty much all the trails and seen most of the overlooks. If you are a horseback rider, there are designated trails just for you, and also others that are for hikers and equestrians.

This picture was taken from the Rim Trail. You can see overlook after overlook on this trail!

In this park there are shuttle buses, so if you decide to hike a one-way trail, you don’t have to hike back. You can take a free shuttle bus back to your car or hike back to your car using the Rim Trail.

The sunset to sunrise trail is my favorite hike. 10544376_4607916413372_407281686108902423_nYou start at the top of the rock formations and work your way down to the bottom, winding in and out of these formations. I like the diversity because the view is completely different from up at the top to when you are on the floor at the bottom.

So apparently Bryce Canyon is not a canyon but rather 14 huge amphitheaters consisted of rock sculptures, spires, pinnacles, windows and arches. I like seeing the overlooks, but my favorite is going down to the bottom and getting a greater perspective on the formations.10644480_4607918093414_5767938218497951970_n

Definitely a cool place to check out. It’s better if you do a trail rather than just see it from the rim. I really recommend the sunrise to sunset trail.

Just a fun fact; Zion National Park is only 45 minutes from this park and I would definitely make time for ZION!!! Love you Zion!!! You can check out my article on Zion here if you would like.

Thank you for reading!
