When someone thinks of Seattle, one of the first things most people think of, is the familiar needle. But what most people don’t know is you can ride on an elevator to the top of the needle for views of Seattle and the ocean, and the needle is next to this epic glass museum.
The glass museum is called Chihuly garden and glass and I personally thought it was amazing. It was expensive though. If you want to visit their page and check out the prices, click below.

It is cheaper if you combine both the needle and glass museum rather than buying them both separate as of most places. I went in the summer of 2016 and for two people it cost approximately 80 dollars for both.
Museam
The glass museum is both indoors and outdoors. The outside is interesting because you get the natural plants as well as the hand-made glass. It’s definitely different but pretty.
You can also go at night, and that is a completely different experience I heard. I didn’t go at night, but I bet it would be very beautiful.
At the end, there is a gift shop and you can purchase their hand-made blown glass. It is VERY expensive though!!!!!
Needle
The needle is also great.
You first accent learning the history in the making of the needle. Then you take the elevator to the top. You can walk around the needle having a 360 degree view of the area. You will also probably see the cruise ships departing for their adventure to Alaska. Pretty exciting! I was definitely jealous when I saw those cruises leave for Alaska!!!!
There’s also the oceanfront you can do.
It’s kind of touristy, but hey, if your doing the needle and museum already, why not right! I actually really liked it here, but that might be because I’m absolutely obsessed with the ocean.
Thank you for reading and hope you have a great day/night! Hope you enjoyed!!!!!
Sincerely,
