Sawyer Water Purifier 

Pros:

• Very light-weight
• Compact
• Durable
• Cheap
• Reliable- highest level of filtration on market

I never got sick from purifying any water and I was forced to drink from very questionable water on some of my trips. I drank from Stagnant water that was green and brown and didn’t get remotely sick. So, it works well!

Cons: There is this one piece a the end of the filter where you put your dirty water. It’s a ring. If the ring accidentally falls out, it doesn’t work anymore and the piece has now come out on me a couple times. Also, if it freezes it does not work so you have to make sure you keep it somewhat warm in cold environments.
