Cape Flattery is the most Northwestern Part you can get to in the lower 48! You are right on the coast with dramatic coastlines, deep caves, beautiful blue waters, and wildlife.

The trail is 1.3 miles round trip with only 200 feet of elevation gain. It’s an easy hike with great rewards. Plus I think it’s kind of neat to literally be at the most Northwestern Part of the US.

Sitting on the ledge, enjoying the scenery!!!

When I went there, I got to see a Harbor Seal swimming around. There was also many birds just flying all around you.

The caves you get to see are right when you approach the coastline. There are lookout points to see the caves.

You can go out onto the point to be able to examine all around you. Makes for a great lunch spot!

Here is a link to the Washington Trails Association to learn more about the hike if you would like 🙂
